I know we JUST started 2011, but I was checking out the NW board and it got me thinking about after the wedding.
Am I going to miss it? What parts will I miss? Am I going to be able to remember things from it 20, 30 years from now??
It's kinda sad (sorry to be Debbie Downer) but just got me thinking: all the planning and then BOMB, no more - all over!!!
I mean - yea, we have the man of our dreams the rest of our lives but ya know, the day that we all worked so hard for - adios!
I dunno - just a thought!

I'm scheduling my reception at a time when I think all the pictures will be finished so we don't miss CH. I'm also adding 30 min onto CH as well as the reception. PLUS I'm not planning on drinking (I want to remember everything) only a few sips for toasts, and maybe a drink or 2 at the end of the night. Wishful thinking......

yeap, I'll def miss it!!! after sooo much planning is gonna be hard to stop doing it, I mean we're eventually gonna plan to decorate a new house, babies, etc, but def nothing like planning ur own wedding

Probably .... I know my newlywed friends are now hitting their one year marks and are getting sad and they miss the whole planning. But I can't wait to start having babies. :o)

I think about this a lot!!...so your not alone! I enjoy wedding planning so much....I come home from work..shower..light some candles. grab a glass of wine..and scour the internet for wedding things and ideas and play on LIW!!! Im going to have to find something else to plan after this!

girl im right there with you...im a lightweight and DO NOT want horrific pictures of me drunk at my wedding...i will have a drink or two but we be saving my drinking for the HM!

It was fun planning and I enjoyed every minute of it but I am looking forward to FH and I just starting our life after the wedding - buying house, having kids, etc. We have a lot more to look forward to.
And I am also looking forward to all the other weddings we will be attending in the next few years!

OH Duhhhh!!! I missunderstood the question Sometimes I need to read things twice. So to answer your question, yes I will miss planning the wedding, the actually wedding, and the HM, and going on these boards especially LOL
