I don't know why I'm so torn with this. Still trying to decide whether or not to add it on!
Please tell me why you decided for or against it.

I think by the end of the night people are pretty much stuffed so I think it is a waste of money. But my hall also provides a mini-viennese and I am having the chocolate fountain.

With both sides being Italian, we had no choice but to have one. I'm really looking forward to it.

talk about last minute decisions!
For us, it was included in the next pacakage up,which also included more CP roses, an ice sculpture,a raw seafood bar,& additional course. So, we didn't think all that was neccessary.
As an individual item, I probably still wouldn't have done it, b/c it would mena extending the reception an hour,( which costs more& I think a lot of people may not stay that long.
We also have a dessert & cookies in addition to the cake, so considering all the dieters & diabetics, I didn't think we really needed anymore junk food!

Russo's has a viennese hour that is to die for!!! Everyone waits for it. I love viennese hours at weddings. I personally think the cocktail hour and the viennese hour are the two best parts of the wedding.

You ain't kidding!! Almost broke out into WWIII yesterday over this when we went and paid our final bill ... they told us we have until 3 days before to tell them so I'll probably be agonizing over it until then!

We aren't having too. We are having a lot of people and it's just going to be too expensive. We will still have chocolate mouse, cookies and wedding cake. I also might add a chocolate fountain depending our budget.

We're not having it, but in addition the wedding cake, they also put pastries and chocolate dipped berries on each table. I also chose to have an ice cream sundae bar instead of the intermezzo. Everyone will also get a 'loot bag' full of candy as they leave. I think that's more than sufficiant.

We aren't doing it - only because the hall gives us intermezzo and an additional painted plate dessert of our choice along with the cake. BUT
I went to a wedding that had a great one - and I'm a sweet tooth - so as a guest it was a wonderful addition.
Anything you choose will be the right decision Its your wedding!

No. By the end of the night, peopel will be so full and most of it gets thrown out anyway.

No Im not...for two reasons. First the obvious one of charging $12pp additional for the hr & 2nd the wedding is already ending at 1am so the extra hr would be till 2am! Thats real late on a fri nite when everyone is looking to just go home after a day of work and a wedding.
We did get a cordial bar thrown in and our cake so, they are still getting some goodies.

I felt, after my wedding, that if you are torn and can afford it, go for it. But it is in no way necessary. My family did not look for one, we are drinkers, and by that time of the night,we want a dance floor and a lot of fun music. so it kind of interrupts our flow of the wedding. We are not big on food though, just drinking

The sandcastles VH was out of this world!!! They had cotton candy, hot pretzels, peanuts, every cake, pie and pastry ever imaginable! Dipped berries I could go on and on! The watermill also has a great VH.
We’re doing it along with the chocolate fountain. I guess I went a little over board but you know those Italians!
