Are you having high or low centerpieces?

Are you having high or low centerpieces?

Is it because of budget or what you wanted?

We are having high centerpieces... There are very high ceilings in TVYC and low ones don't really show up well. Also... it doesn't hurt that my FH is in the business and has designed them himself.

Low b/c we don't like the high CPs- but don't be fooled, low CPs can EASILY become much more expensive than their high counterparts.

We are having low ones with flowers around floating candles in the middle. Thats always been my favorite.

I had high centerpieces, I fell in love with the look...

I originally wanted small break aways

the hall supplies them and they will be low...if i had the money i would have made them the high candleabra type so people don't have to talk around them...but alas, I'm broke or will be after 8/14

We are thinking of alternating. I want some high cause the ceilings are high at my reception hall, but to save some $$$ we will probably do 50/50 (and I think it will be an interesting mix)

Oh and the high ones will have skinny bases/stems so that our guests can still see one another and chat

I want high CP but depending on cost may alternate tables with low ones.

We are having Low CP's. We wanted them because we went to a wedding where they had high ones, and we couldnt talk to the peopel across the table becasue they were in the wa. I think that the high ones can be nice, but they are not my taste

I'm just having votive holders and snow.

I guess its a mix of money and what I wanted. I couldn't see spending lots of money on flowers, and I found really cute snowflake votive holders.

At first I was going to do half high and half low, but then I was able to increase the flower budget, so I went with all high. My ballroom has 40ft. ceilings and while low ones still look very nice in the room, I wanted to go with high ones. They are going to look very similar to this except they will be reds and pinks an the vase willbe a little different:

We had low, mainly because I think while they're lovely, the high ones are just too much. They block the way and you can't even see the people on the other side of the table.
