Are you inviting

Are you inviting

Co-workers to your shower? My office won't do a work-shower or anything like that, and I'd only invite the women who would be invited to the wedding, but what is everyone doing?

ETA: there is only 1 man in my office, there are like 20+ women and no shower . . . weird, right?

I am not because they are on my B list.

no - but i'm also not inviting them to the wedding. i think it depends on your relationship w them. im not a fan of being friends w co-workers outside of work.

Re: Are you inviting

i was very torn about this.

i finally decided to only invite 1 girl bc we are good friends outside of work.

the rest i took off. I think they are doing a work shower for me though so that was my major deciding factor.

I did, the ones that were being invited to the wedding I am very close friends with, so it wouldn't have been the same if they weren't there

I'm torn. I am def inviting one woman because we are friends outside of work. The 2 others will be invited to the wedding, and we are very friendly at work, and I would love to have them there, but I don't want to seem like I am trolling for gifts. This makes me very uncomfortable . . . ahhhh.

I feel the same - very uncomfortable about the whole thing. There are 4 girls I am friendly with at work and talk about with wedding stuff and feel I must invite them to the wedding. However, I am relatively new at my job and decided against inviting them to the shower since its going to be small anyway, and I don't want any awkwardness... overall its just a tough situation

no most likely they will be throwing me one at work... my shower is just close family and friends

Nope, we can't, or else our list would be around 300 people! We are inviting co-workers from our OLD jobs though.

However, I spoke to a couple of my co-workers and they said they'd be more than willing to take a last minute invite if I don't meet my minimum

Only the ones I'm friends with on a personal level.

FH works in a small office (8 people) , so he had to invite all of them.
