Are you inviting all OOT guests to your rehearsal dinner?
Original post by bluegreen08
We originally were not, but now I think we are.
I think I prefer the idea of just including the bridal party/those involved in the ceremony (and FILs originally wanted to keep it smaller). However, we are having our RD at the OOT hotel and FILs recently decided that they do want to include everyone. They ultimately left it up to us, but I think we're going to invite all OOTers too.
As our RSVPs are coming in I have a greater appreciation for those that are travelling in order to come to the wedding, so I'm happy to invite them, even if it makes the guest list grow substantially. (ex: we already have 20 rooms booked in the hotel)
What are you doing? Was it your decision or FILs? Are you sending them formal invitations? Our wedding invites already went out and I think FILs are sending separate RD invites...

Bridal party only. It's a rehearsal for those involved in our wedding, not anyone else that is in town that night.

Our invites haven't gone out yet, but we are including our OOTowners in our RD head count. (approx 20 OOT but, 10 are BP) We have a pretty good idea of who it will be. I figure if they are willing to make the trip for the wedding, the least we can do is include them.

We are doing BP only, but we have so many people plus with their guests it is going to be close to 40 people just with that. If I were to include the OOT's it would be near 100 people which we just can't afford. I wish I could invite them but FIL's are already paying for this and FH and I do not have any extra money to pay for the OOTs. I am going to put together a list of nearby restaurants and activites (ie movie theaters and such) for the OOT's as far as things to do that night.
