Are you inviting your

Original post by lisa50

Boss to your wedding? Mine is super nice but I am so over my limit as it is. Feel bad, but I think at the same time I might be saving him $$, a babysitter, and his wife from not knowing anyone.

I'm inviting my co-workers and one of my bosses. I would love to invite the real 'Boss' but she can't attend any employee events It's against company policies.

Yup...in fact all my in office co-workers and their spouses. A table 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

me too. i think i'll have almost 20 people just work people!

I have a whole table... I wasn't sure for this same reason, it was either invite all or invite none!

I really like my coworkers & we have soo much fun together, so figuered why not! Besides, you spend the majority of your day with these people & this way we can all talk about it for days!

I wish I was inviting my boss, but unfortunately I was not able to invite anyone from my office. I started working there literally 1 week before I got engaged, so in our first draft of the guest list I didn't really consider them. Then our list spiralled horribly out of control with family and I literally can't add anyone unless we start getting a whole lot of no's. I'm panicking to be honest with you.
It s u c k s though b/c now that I have been there for a year there are a lot of people that I would love to invite, but I just can't.

Yes, I work in a very small office. There are 3 other year-round employees so they, and their spouses are invited. OUr part-timers and seasonals I did not invite.

I probably am, although I have a feeling he won't come. But he knows my dad, so who knows.

I'm inviting a lot of my co-workers - my entire group actually. .. its going to be like 20 people (with their spouses) most likely This is, of course, contingent on me planning to stay there. I'll have a better idea as the wedding gets a little closer.

I'm not inviting them. I only started in Sept. and my list was made before that. Also, I would feel weird inviting my boss and knowing they would be giving me a gift. I like to keep work at work!

Re: Are you inviting your

Hmm this is tricky, I know FH is inviting his and some other higher ups in his company,. But in mine...its iffy, I personally don't really want them there, I just think its a personal event for me, and in reality I just work w/them I don't see them outside of work so I really don't feel comfortable seeing my boss at my wedding. JMO....plus he's a little skeevy he's been making off comments ever since I got engaged. Like getting married is a waste of money ect ect.....so why should I have to deal with that??
