ARE YOU KIDDING ME

I was one of the Astoria, Queens residents that lost all power for 9 days about 3 weeks ago.
It was very difficult in all sorts of ways, but what blowes my mind is this:

I just got my Con Ed bill in the mail. There is a note inside it that apologizes for the situation and says that a one time rebate has been taken off my bill.
GUESS HOW MUCH THE REBATE IS???
GUESS>>>

$3.00 9 days, hundresds of dollars of spoiled food, a sick dog and you rebate $3.00

THAT is insane.
