are you kidding me...

so my bachelorette party is tonite...some friends are in NY, many are in boston where i live...my friend who is planning it in boston didn't give my NY friends more than 1 week notice, so they can't come (and i don't blame them!!)...and now little by little, friends from up in MA are dropping out...i just got a text from a friend saying she's not feeling well and just wanted to give me a heads up that she probably won't makek it tonite. i don't even want to go anymore...i feel like im MAKING people go out for me and i shouldn't feel like that. i basically had to plan the whole thing myself too...

can i just tell them i don't want to go?? at this point there's literally FOUR people going.

I think you should still go and the friends that are there tonight are truley your real friends in my opinion. I am sure I would feel that way too, but go out and have a great time . THis should be a fun and happy moment, so cheer up and have a good time !!!!

I'm sure you'll still have a good time. I was a BM at one where almost everyone dropped out at the last minute. It was 4 of us including the bride by the time we went out (some people just showed up for dinner). We still had a blast. Have fun!

I think you should still go and have a great time and party like a rock star. It is too bad for your friends in NY that couldn't make it but its not their fault. As for the girls in Boston dropping out- that is their problem and they are missing out on a great time! It's your night- go enjoy it like you deserve to!!

i totally feel your pain! mine is tonight too and i'm having the same exact problem with people dropping out at the last minute. but i'm not letting them get me down, i'm just going and having a good time!! you should too!!

yea im still gonna go - it's not the NY girls who im pissed at...they could possibly even have come if my boston friend told them more than a WEEK in advance!!!

it's the girls that LIVE here and know how important it is to me to get everyone together who are just crapping out on me. then i got an email where at the end it said 'PPS - my guest isn't coming to your wedding anymore'

meanwhile...HELLO??? we did the counts and seating arrangements and place cards...

i just feel like this wedding is a joke to my friends here.

First of all: Second: I would definitely go out with the friends that are going to come! Like someone said before-they are making the effort to be there and they love you! It's just short notice for your other friends. Don't worry you'll have a great time! Sometimes it's more fun in a small group. I hope you enjoy and come and post pics!!!
