2nd dress? to change into for the reception or are you keeping the same dress all night? For those of you getting a second dress, where are you looking for it and how much you willing to spend?

Yes, I'm having two dresses, both custom. I love to dance, so I was never about staying in the first. Do what ever makes you happy.

I was actually talking to one of my BM's about this last night...

I like the idea - but when you spend so much $$ on one dress, I dont think I will want to take it off lol
I am considering it... if I run into a dress for the reight price (cheap!) then i might pick one up. and if I decide not to wear it for the day of it might make a cute rehearsal dress or something if its short.

I'm doing/did it! I fell in love with a short dress but it is officially still a wedding dress and therefore cost more than I was ok with spending on it. I decided to buy it for 1/10 the price on ebay from China...it went fairly well but showed up in definite need of some loving alterations. Its at the seamstress right now and I will be visiting it this weekend so there will be updates. I am super nervous (cause at this point I've invested as much $ in it as I am comfortable spending so if its not perfect yet I dont know what I'm going to do). HTH

i am and i already bought it. my first dress is bigger so i wanted something more fitted for the reception so i'm changing into that probably after the first dance or something

I LOVE it way too much to change it. I'm already thinking about how I can wear it after the wedding and not have it be ackward. LOL

nope sticking with the one dress, I figured im shelling out all this money for it, im gonna make it last. I do however plan on loosing the puffy skirt thingy midway through the reception.
