Are you ladies having an actual rehearsal?
I am getting married at the Watermill, and i really don't want my whole bridal party and ushers to see the beautiful room. I am definately haveing a 'rehearsal' dinner, where I will give out gifts, and just hang out and do toasts and speeches, and have everyone get to know each other - but I'm not sure I want to do an actual rehearsal. I was thinking of inviting Re. Janine so she can spens a few minutes with us to tell us all what to do, and maybe do a mock rehearsal in a restaurant, and then of course invite her the the dinner. What do you all think? On the fence about this one.. .thanks!

Re: Are you ladies having an actual rehearsal?
It depends on how much everyone has to do. If its a simple ceremony, then there is no reason to do it there. I went to a wedding last December at the Watermill and they didn't have a rehearsal and the ceremony was beautiful! I'm having a rehearsal at my church because of the readings and a cousin is singing so I want her to practice in the church.

Re: Are you ladies having an actual rehearsal?
We are getting married @ the Milleridge Cottage & they don't 'allow' rehersals(except right before your ceremony)so we are doing a mock ceremony at the dinner. I also took pictures of the room set up for a ceremony & measured the aisle so I could judge the length of my music. At first I was totally freaked out, but the more I thought about it I realized it will be fine. I agree with SeptBride, if it's simple you don't need more.Where are you having your dinner?

Hi Rich's - I haven't decided on a restaurant yet, although we were going to look into having it at the Watermill, although like I said - not sure I want all those people to see it.Also, for those of you having a rehearsal dinner, what is an average cost per person?
Rich's did you repost your pic?

Re: Are you ladies having an actual rehearsal?
Thanks for bringing this up. I am getting married at Flowerfield and I think they will allow me to do a rehearsal, but I have to check with them. I think I will actually do the rehearsal there if possible. I guess I better get moving and find an officiant first! LOL
