Are you letting your bp bring dates even if they are not in a relationship?
Fi and i are debating the whole guest plus dates thing and we figured that we would let the guest bring a date only if they have been dating for a while ( atleast 6 months plus)
now what about the bridal party? since they are in the bp, should we lift the clause and let them bring a date even if they dont have a boyfriend/girlfriend or are dating someone at the time?

It depends I would think..I'm not haveing a BP table, the BP will sit w/ guest where I can squeeze them lol If your having a dais of some kind then maybe guest should be limited..you wouldnt want a total stranger to sit with Aunt Sue..JMHO

I am also inviting everyone with a guest but each case is different.
Would it be tacky to ask your girls if they want to bring a date? This way you could get an idea. Your FH could then ask his guys what they plan on doing and you would have an idea at what kind of numbers your'e looking at.

Yes we are... As all of my BM's are in their late 20's & 30's and I find it rude if we didn't, but that's JMO.

i asked my bp whose not in a relatinship to hold off on inviting someone until a later date if i have extra room after invite responses, then they can invite a guest

I am inviting my whole BP with guest, but I know for a fact only about 3 of them will bring one. Everyone else I took on a case by case basis.

as far as seating arrangements, the bms and the gms are sitting at two separate tables ( half of them are in serious relationships so their dates are invited)
mainly i have like 3 bp attendants that are not in any sort of relationship
should i still let them bring someone? i dont want them just grabbing their neighbor or just anyone just to have a date..
hmm.... perhaps i can just let them bring a date..

I figured since the BP spend so much money leading up to the day the least I can do is let them bring a date.

yeah, well i realised it would be 4 people but i guess i can just allow them since they are in the bp and they are already spending lots of $$$

for our guests...only those friends that were in relationships prior to our engagement are being invited with a guest....(due to max capacity of 250 guests at RH)
for my bridal party...6 out of my 7 bridesmaids have bf's and they are invited to the wedding...so i asked my last bridesmaid if she wanted to bring a guest...my MOH isn't going to bring a guest though...
the groomsmen with gf's are being invited with guests...i think the fiance is undecided if he is going to invite guests for the single ones...

We have the same rule for guests, but it is lifted with siblings and BP. Hope that helps. We thought with all the BP is doing for us, the least we coul do is invite with guest. But most prob. will come stag!

I am inviting everyone in the BP with a guest, and the other guest who do not have an SO, will be invited Stag.
Thats just what I am doing- I don't think it is a bad idea- Almost a gesture and a thanks.
