I saw someone post something about that..why would you do it? Easier to mark off when they come in?

Re: Are you numbering your response cards?
we did it. We were told that some people might forget to write their names in, so its good to have them numbered. No one forgot their names.... (just forgot to send them PERIOD!!)

Re: Are you numbering your response cards?
People might send them back and you may not be able to read their handwriting too... I think it's a good idea.

Re: Are you numbering your response cards?
I did for mine in pencil very lightly on the back. It has come in handy cross referencing them on the list I have when they come in. Also, I did it just because if someone forgot to put their name on it, which has happened believe it or not I've heard of, atleast I know who it is then instead of waiting for all of the responses to come in. You don't have to but it may make your life easier in the end

Re: Are you numbering your response cards?
I did but I did it in such an assinine way that I don't know if it will help me! If I would have sent them myself without any help there wouldn't have been any problems (who's a control freak?) but what are you gonna do.

Re: Are you numbering your response cards?
We plan on doing it, don't need the extra stress of trying to figure out who sent the response if they forgot to put their names down.

Re: Are you numbering your response cards?
I numbered mine and it was very helpful. two reasons: one or two people [older relatives] forget to put their name down and to make sure I actually sent them to the people. Kind of a double check on myself. And I had wierd paper so some were hard to read, the ink wouldnt stick right.

Re: Are you numbering your response cards?
Yes it did come in handy. I also wrote mine very small in pencil.
I had around 2 that we got their first names wrong and I didn't know who it was. (family friends) and the number on the back is very helpful.

Re: Are you numbering your response cards?
I'm writing their names on their cards, along with the number attending. They only have to check off whether they are coming or not. I'm having over 200 guests, and I'm way to organized.
