I saw someone post something about that..why would you do it? Easier to mark off when they come in?

YES! And, so far, I've had 3 not write names, or their writing was completely illegible

I'm writing their names on their cards, along with the number attending. They only have to check off whether they are coming or not. I'm having over 200 guests, and I'm way to organized.
Thats a good idea...but what about people with a guest? are you going to write 2 and they can change it if they are coming alone?

yes, it will be easier to track the guest that way. less stress is best.
