Are you obsessed with doing everything yourself???
I AM !!!! I planned my bridal shower myself and attepted to 'suggest' to the girls exactly what I wanted. I got an email from my moh saying --you aren't supposed to be planning everything yourself, SO stop! LOL. :)
Ppl keep asking is I need help and I don't I just need more $$$$$. LOL..
I can't seem to let go of my controlling ways.

I'm not obsessed with doing everything myself... I just have too, because it seems like no one else is helping!! AND YES I NEED MORE $$ TOO! I am trying to keep my wedding at a reasonable price.. and the amount just keeps growing!! Which stinks because we are paying for it ourselves too!

i'm sooo like you!!!! i enjoy doing everything myself. The thing is i know what i want and if something goes wrong i rather it be my fault then someone elses.... but i loooove doing all this wedding stuff.. its alot of fun!! and some say i'm a bit of a control freak... but whatever haha. have fun planning... u only get married once!!!!
p.s- i think we all need more money haha

I like when people get involved and help me out. My wedding is completely planned and now I am bored so the shower stuff I would love to help with but I really want to be suprised and see what my friends and family put together for me.
i know its booked and I know its in April, but that is all I know

I am obsessed with making it WONDERFUL!!! but I don't want to do everything myself.... although I do tend to just DO THINGS..... without necessarily asking! lol lol

YES!!!!!!!! I am a perfectionist, I have to do everything myself or I feel like it wont be perfect if I dont do it myself or if someone else does it

I look at it this way, if I mess it up it's my fault and I'm to blame and don't have to get mad at other people for not getting it.

I really want to plan the wedding myself. I want FH in on all of the planning too because I want it to be all about us and combining what we both like. I am tired of everyone telling me what I should do, his family is so demanding that they told me when our engagement party should be and the wedding too.... I just want to have the satisfaction that I planned it and had fun with it. But I want my shower to be a suprise!!!! I trust my sister (MOH) with all my heart!

I was, but eventually DH convinced me that I couldn't. Sometimes there just wasn't enough time for me to do things myself. Sometimes it was cheaper just to pay a professional to perform certain tasks rather than do it myself--the work quality was better, too.

Hehehe...I feel the same exact way...wish I could be more involved with my shower...my MOH said she'll take care of it and wants me to be completely surprised..ayayay!
