Are you on budget??

Since it is almost our year (and I just sat down to review my own budget) I wanted to see where everyone else is.


Me- I am about $300 under budget. Which of course I know I will spend on something before the wedding.

although every bridal book, magazine etc says that the first thing you do is make a bidget, we didn't...I guess we are working more on trying to get good prices for things and comparing what is out there rather than syaing we will spend X amount. I am sure in the end taht certian things are more than we thought but as long as we don't go too crazy i think we are ok....

could be lower...i think we started too high and wish we would have set a lower budget.

We're on budget right now, but with the holidays it's hard not to spend the wedding money.

I think we underestimated what would were going to spend, but are over our original number..

I am under my budget, but there is a lot of time to spend the difference....and then some.

We went backwards- I estimated costs first- didn't set a budget to stay under....All I do is try to beat the cost I estimated- so far it's been pretty good but we have to somehow come up with 8,000-10,000 on our own in addition to parent money!! I think it's time for a loan from the great FMIL bank! It's her fault we couldn't do a destination wedding and save all this $$$!!

We're basically on budget in terms of all the 'big' things but I feel like all of the little things are going to push us over the edge.

We are in budget, but I think that the honeymoon will send us over the edge. I think that we'll be ok because most of our food and activities can go on the card and be paid back once we come home.

i made a deal with FI that we can't spend any wedding gift money on wedding stuff.
