Are you or do you have matching wedding bands with FH/DH?

FH wants matching bands, actually he's quite adamant about it.....while its cute to have a guy want that, its a little disappointing, b/c I was hoping for something pretty and very sparkly with quite a few diamonds.......With a man, there really isn't a happy medium.

Unless I have two, but what is the sense? When do I wear the nice one? And when would I wear the matching?

Anyone have or had a similar situation? We're probably going to look this weekend, so I want to be prepared for any ideas...

My husband's wedding bad is a plain simple platinum band and I have an eternity band of sparkley diamonds. We wanted my wedding band to complement my e-ring and reflect my individual style. We wanted my hubby's band to reflect his style. Your rings will be on your fingers for the rest of your lives, you should love them completely, don't worry about whether or not they match each other.

My wedding band was made to match my e ring. DH got a very simple band. A few months after the wedding we went to get me one that matched, but I didnt like how it looked on me, so I got a different one.

I also have 2 bands. One has diamonds (it was my mom's) and the other one matches my DH's band. I am wearing my diamonds now, but I am pretty sure, sooner or later, I will wear the plain one every day and the diamond band and my e-ring for going out and on the weekends. With my work, I am a little afraid that something will happen to the diamond rings.

Many of the women I know, after they have been married for a while (esp. after having kids) don't wear the diamonds every day.
