Are you or do you have matching wedding bands with FH/DH?
FH wants matching bands, actually he's quite adamant about it.....while its cute to have a guy want that, its a little disappointing, b/c I was hoping for something pretty and very sparkly with quite a few diamonds.......With a man, there really isn't a happy medium.
Unless I have two, but what is the sense? When do I wear the nice one? And when would I wear the matching?
Anyone have or had a similar situation? We're probably going to look this weekend, so I want to be prepared for any ideas...

Unless fh suddenly becomes a big fan of 'sparkly,' we most definitely won't match.
I agree it's cute that your fh wants to 'match,' but go with your heart and let him know what will make you happy too

I always thought I wanted a matching one too until I saw the wedding band that matches my e-ring and then I was like, forget it. But I would take a look, you never know, you could find one you love that has a matching one for men.

We definately will not be matching. I want a sparkly ring and he wants a more mascule one. I'm more then fine with that cause if he gets something he won't like, he won't wear it. lol

We got matching bands because it was important to me. I got a very thin (2cm) platinum, single milgrain band and DH got a slightly thicker (4cm) band with double milgrain. I also want another thin pave band to match my e-ring and I will get it as an anniversary gift when we have more money. I will just stanck the new ring on top and wear all three together.

So you will wear you eng. ring, your matching wedding band and the pave one all on one?
Will that be comfortable?
I didnt know it was OK to have two, but now I have hope, and you know what, I just may have to get two.......Thanks!!!

Same here, I always thought I'd have matching bands but FH wants a titanium ring and I want an eternity band. I know if he gets the one he wants he'll never take it off so in the end it's fine with me.

I have my diamond wedding band , but we also have matching ones. I wear my diamond one all the time with my e-ring. I wear my other one if i'm doing some running around.

Does your matching one have diamonds also? Can you wear one on the same hand as your eng. ring and the other wedding band on the other hand at the same time???

Ill wear it by the pool or to the beach. You can do whatever makes you happy, there's no right or wrong these days.

We didn't do matching bands. While we both have white gold, mine is sparkly and thin and his is a 'manly man' ring.

Well I decided, I have my sparkly already LOL I would rather match also to DH and he wants plain. Its good because its cheaper and wont distract from my engagement ring :) I really want them to match :)

Ours won't be matching, but are 'similar'. Meaning they were picked because they look nice together. I have an emerald cut e-ring and picked an eternity band, my fi picked a brushed metal band that has rectangular shapes and little circle 'indentations' that we take it to mean emerald and round from my rings. So we made them match in 'our head'.
OK ignore my lunacy, yes girl, you can have more than one band. Stores sell 'stacking bands' for this purpose. Almost all of my Jewish co-workers have a plain band (for obvious reason) that's very thin (2mm) and an eternity band...They wear it in this order (facing them) plain band, eternity ring, e-ring.
Hope I made sense...you can have 2, 3 bands if you want. Play around with it! Have fun!

i'm having 2. When FH bought my engagement ring, he bought the matching band but I'll also be getting a plain platinum or titanium band.

Since the band I have is thin, and the band I want will be thin, I'm going to wear them all. I don't think it will be uncomfortable at all. I would probably keep the band I have now closest to my hand, then the e-ring, and then the new band.
