Are you planning on wearing your....

engagement ring on your honeymoon??? alot of people have been telling me this is not a wise thing to do in case it gets stolen. people were telling me stories about their cruise and the things were taken out of the room and the safe.

i guess it's ok to wear the wedding ring because it's not as monetarily (is that a word?) valuable as the engagement ring.

what are you girls doing?

I am definately wearing mine! My FH proposed on a cruise and had the ring in our room in his bag the whole time b/c he couldn't put it in the safe where I'd see it. It was fine-thank God! I will wear my rings the entire time except for swimming and shower in which case I will put them in the safe.

i never thought about it ~ i will probably take it with me ~ I really only take it off at night when i go to sleep! (or do cleaning around the house)

I never thought about it. I'll probably wear it and just not take it off. Although -- do I want to wear it in the ocean... hmmm. Good question! I have to think about it.

Yeah I will probably leave the engagement ring home.. but I want to wear my wedding ring! Although, is it true that you need to show proof of marriage to get the honeymoon package or upgrades at the hotel?

yes we wore them, just not in the pool, or in the ocean. we kept them in the safe if we weren't wearing them.

wow i never even thought of getting a fake ring, i had no idea people did this... but i plan on wearing my rings and being extra careful... do people really steal stuff out of the safes in hotel rooms??
