bye the way, you really dont get to eat at your wedding. I swore I would, especially since we picked delicious food. I didnt eat ANYTHING at my cocktail hour and I was there for most of it. I barely touced my plate and they gave me both the chicken and beef dish. YOu are pulled in so many directions its hard to sit and eat.
Same with my drink. My wonderful bridal attendant would get me a drink I would take a sip, out it down to talk and then disappear to go dance or talk to someone else.. then I would get another drink and so on!!!

I know they say you dont get to eat at your own wedding but I am still in denial of that and I definately want to be at the cocktail hour.

Me too

We are going to take pictures right after church at a local park near the hall and then go to cocktail hour. If we miss some of it I wont really mind but I definatly plan on being there even if it is for 10 or 15 minutes. It's still 10 or 15 minutes I get to mingle a little with my guests

We are going to our's also. Since Villa's took over PJCC catering I can't wait to eat some of that delicious food so I guess I am in denial about the whole not eating at your wedding thing to.

I was thinking though.....what if you spill something saucy and stain your dress

I might be too afraid to eat unless i wear a bib

I definitely want to be there!!!!!!!! I just really want to see how everything is going to be set up and hopefully, weather permitted, we will have it outdoors so I want to enjoy it

We had a great cocktail hour that was outside. We were really looking foward to joining the cocktail hour, but we were running a little late with the pics. I was a little upset that I didn't enjoy my cocktail hour, but we had a mini cocktail hour in the Bridal suite.
