I finally found my gown! I am so excited and I know my FI is happy for me too. He really wants to see the gown but I wanted it to be a surprise. I feel bad not showing him but I feel like it is bad luck too. What do you think?

i am not showing fh my wedding gown, no matter how much he begs. i want it to be a surprise and i also think it's bad luck.

O NO. I am chomping at the bit to show FH my dress becasue it is the same dress I have been looking at for about 2 years, but i want it to be a surprise, so he wil lhave to wait like everyone else

I actually tried to because I was so excited. But, he being the great guy he is wouldn't hear of it. He wants to be surprised. He actually did see it though. He just doesn't know it. I was flipping through a book of dresses one day asking him if he liked them. Luckily he liked the one I bought but he doesn't know that was it!! Hee Hee!! I am such a pain!!

Anyway, he said the first time he wants to see it is when I'm walking down the aisle in it towards him

i think it is traditional for it to be a suprise. my fh said 'oh i can't wait to see the dress' when i told him he would have to wait a year he was suprised, but that is the way the cookie crumbles!!!

Nope...not showing him...and he agrees. He doesn't want to see it before I walk down the isle. I'm not showing my dad either...I want him to see it when I get dressed the morning of the wedding and come down the stairs from my old room in their house...

No, in fact I have a binder with tear-outs of dresses I liked and I left them ALL in there in case he snoops he won't know which one I'm getting!

He is so good and says he does not want to see it. If I have a glass of wine with dinner and it starts to affect my brain, I will start asking him what he thinks it looks like. I am dying to tell him but I also want it to be a surprise.

I can't remember if i showed him a picuture when I was looking for not. But I definetly did not after I chose 'the one' I did describe it to him. But no pictures
