Most places make you sign a 'no refund' contract when you pick your gown, but after the selection is made... are you still sure this is the gown for you?

I am! I was just looking at a pic of it and I love it! Sometimes I get gown envy, but it's only b/c m,ine isn't around. I love the way I feel when I've got mine on! Like a princess!!

Re: Are you still in love with your wedding gown?
Do I love my gown?? absolutely!!!!! Do I love other gowns that I see? absolutely!!
The problem is the other gowns that I see online I have no idea how I'd feel wearing them. I had my dress choice narrowed down to 3 and I picked the one that I loved how I looked in it, but I definitely find myself going nuts looking at other dresses- because there's so many I like!!!!
Just remember why you loved your gown in the first place- mine really stood out for me.

Re: Are you still in love with your wedding gown?
Ya know, I LOVED mine the day I realized it was 'the one.' Now I'm paranoid it's not bride-y enough because it's so simple. But I know that's me! It was between the simple dress and a more elaborate, ballgowny type, and honestly I felt ridiculous in a more elaborate gown cuz I knew it wasn't me!
Yet....I almost worry my MOHs will look more dressed up than me! Isn't that nuts?
I wish my dress would be in so I can see it fit me properly and put the whole look together. I know it will be a totally different experience the day of the wedding with makeup and hair....so I just have to have faith!

I LOVE mine. I can't wait to walk down the aisle wearing it. I can't wait to see my FH reaction.

Re: Are you still in love with your wedding gown?
I cried when I found my dress - there's just something about it that I find so beautiful and it makes me so emotional. When I look at pictures of it, I fall in love again
But I was extremely nervous about ordering it and making that decision. My BMs were like - dude, you're crying, it's THE dress, order it! LOL I just didn't want to regret my decision because there were a couple of other dresses that I reallllly liked a ton, but my dress made me FEEL great in it.
Now I'm just nervous about not fitting into it when it comes!

Re: Are you still in love with your wedding gown?
I have not seen my gown since I put my down payment on it at the end of December. Wait a minute I'm lying I have been looking at pictures of it from the website ever since I purchased it. So I guess I am still in . . . . off to look at pictures now

I freakin LOVE it!! It's perfect for me in every way.
I have to say, after I put down my deposit, I had my moments of not being able to remember it well enough so I would wonder about other gowns- BUT the magical moment is when your REAL actual gown comes in, and you try it on- OMG. I CAN'T WAIT TO WEAR IT!!

I love my dress in the pics online and on me when I tried it on. When I saw it on the hanger the other day I was like eh but I am sure once I put it on again I will love it.

I changed mine already so don't ask me. I do LOVE the second choice though.
I think the first time I was too nervous and overwhelmed, I picked mine out way too fast. When it came in I hated it and ended up searching and finding a new one.

Re: Are you still in love with your wedding gown?
I had a design in my head before I started looking for dresses...I sketched it out and said that if I couldn't find anything else by December, I was having THAT SKETCH turned into my wedding gown.
I went to a couple of dress shops in July and found this realllly flattering dress, but it was strapless (but sleeves were really important to me), and I wasn't crazy about the beading - too clear, if that makes any sense.
Would you know - I came home and did some research, and found that Maggie Sottero's brand new line for fall 06 had that EXACT dress I tried on, WITH 3/4 sleeves AND a color choice on the beading??!?!!!!?!?!?
I ordered my dream dress a week later - WITH 3/4 sleeves, and pewter beading.
I CAN'T WAIT until it comes in - I want to dance around in it right now!

Does that mean you just ate the cost of the first gown and bought a second? I'm going to sound pathetic but I've been crying for 2 days that I want a different dress. My mom told me she was sick of shopping and that I had to make a decision, and so I did, and now I really don't like it that much. Ergo the poll. I'm freaking out.
