I really want to--I just have to find the time to commit to it. I called a bunch of places and have to pick one.
Edited to add that most of the places suggested 5-6 classes, and conveniently, they have packages set up that way.

We are taking dance lessons. We are using John from Ballroom Dance Long Island. He is awesome!

Yes, Sandra Cameron Dance Center in Soho. We took Basic Swing a couple of years ago and really liked the place and teachers.

we definitely should have! believe it or not we actually practice dancing for our first dance when we were in the bridal suite!!! LOL...it wasnt too bad, we just giggled and laughed thru most of it! we're so goofy!![]()

We are currently, we are going to Crystal Dance Studio in West Islip. They are really great there, its a small local studio but we love it! I believe we payed $120 for 5 private 30 min lessons and 5 group lessons. You can FM me if you would like the number or search it in yellow pages!

Sandra cameron is awesome. Me and FH took swing and salsa last year for a bunch of classes. Moved to LI and started new jobs on LI so it was hard to keep up but if you live in the city they are great!

Yes....John from Ballroom Dance LI (he is a vendor on this site). He is great!!! You don't have to buy a package. We have had 3 lessons so far and made great progress!

We took about 6 weeks of lessons (2 times a week) in Manhattan with Eilecia Bovard of Bovard Dance. She was so great and we felt so much more confident on our wedding day!

Nah! I think (IMO) that its much more natural to fumble around the dancefloor than to look like polished dancers.
