i decided on the day we got our marriage license to just go ahead and change my name, which i did so reluctantly, but i now have 2 middle names, i just refused to drop any of my names. but it's easier than hyphenating.

I really like my name, but I also like the idea of having the same name as FH. I'm pretty sure I'm either going to take his name completely or make my last name my middle name...... or maybe add it as a second middle name. I still don't know.

My initials aren't the greatest and adding FH's last name to the end would just make it plural.

I'm still wavering about this...

I love my name, but I have never thought twice about taking his name....I can't wait to have the same last name as my FH!!!!

will take FH name. I didn't want to at first, but now I don't care anymore. I think I was just hungup on my last name. at least now I move up in the alphabet chain and am no longer at the end!

i can't even express how much i did NOT want to change my name.

but this was one of those things that DH was very adamant about and he didn't ask for much with the wedding....so i knew he wanted this a lot.

but i can't lie--i STILL haven't changed it with social security! and my passport will remain in my maiden name until i have to renew it in like 7 years!

I dont have a clue what I'm doing. I'm not making any decisions until after the wedding, although I dont know how long my grace period will be

ill def miss being my old name but im excited to be a mulligan no really, im excited that we'll share the name - i know he is excited for it which makes me excited but ill still miss my italian name

I'm taking his name reluctantly...but that's just because I'm not a fan of his last name...I like the whole idea of us sharing the same last name though, so i'm actually really excited about that aspect of it..

I never EVER planned on changing my name when I got married.... but I had a change of heart on the plane coming back from our HM. I was at Town Hall that Monday getting a new marriage license!

His initials are already CC and mine will be CC too!
