So many people have different views on this. My FH and I agree, we shouldn't see eachother until I walk down the aisle :) I go so excited when I think of this!!!

I know that a lot of people say that it makes so much more sense to see each other before and get pictures done and all that....BUT......seeing FH for the first time when I walk down the aisle is one of the moments that Im most looking forward to at my wedding. And FH feels the same way too. I get giddy just thinking about it.

We are waiting ....and I think his mother wants to be surprised too..I dont know why but whatever!!!

Aww how cute! I know that when it gets closer he will be more curious...but I'm not showing anything! I want him to be surprised! As for 'are the first and last ?'s the same?'....The first one is asking if you are waiting JUST the day of NOT to see eachother....I know that some people do not believe in seeing eachother the night before either...

Oh duh when i looked at the poll,i saw the first choice and was like ok im waiting so i just put that, i didnt even see the last one...but yes i am waiting and im also not seeing him the night before

We will see each other before the ceremony because we want to get our pictures done without the rush. Our ceremony and RH is at the same place. Our photographer will capture the moment of FH seeing me for the first time. Then our photographer will be taking pics, then the ceremony and then we will go back out for a few minutes once the sun is going down...I can't wait. FH is more emotional then me so he will prob have the tears.

W'e-re doing pics first @ the Mansion but the night before my BP will be stayign with me in our suite & I think FH is staying @ his parents

Out of curiosity Denise, why do people choose not to see eachother the night before. We are defintely NOT seeing eachother before our ceremony, but it's going to be soooooo hard not to see him the night before! lol

We can't see each other after 11:59pm on August 7th 2008... And then not until I'm walking down the aisle! He can't see my dress either... I'm very traditional about that, and he feels the same way!

I know that I'm just doing that because technically at midnight it is our wedding day, and I don't want us to see each other on our wedding day until i'm walking down the aisle

We're definately waiting.

The night before, I'm staying at my parents house, and FH will be at our apartment. It's going to kill me to wait, but I know that it's worth it. I think it's a beautiful thing to see your husband/wife to be for the first time on the wedding day actually at the wedding.

I was just talking to my cousin who got married this sept about this last night. She said that the best thing she did was take the pictures before the ceremony. She was able to enjoy the entire weddings because of it. I was hoping to see FH's face as I walked down the aisle but now I see the point of having the pics done beforehand. I guess I have to talk to the photographer and FH about this. Hmmmm

One of the things i look foward to most that day is seeing him for the first time as I am walking down the aisle and seeing his reaction. SO yes, we are waiting. and i cant wait!

i'm far from traditional but this is one thing that i'm going old school with. No seeing each other the night before or prior to walking down the aisle. There are so few surprises in life (good ones anyway..LOL) so why not have that moment!

We're meeting before the ceremony and reception to take photos but our photographer has a special meeting set up for us (we don't know what it is but you get the idea)
Originally I didn't want to see him until I walked down the aisle but I like the idea of us having more of the wedding to enjoy.
Also I am not seeing him the two nights before the wedding.
