Are you waiting to see FH...with poll.

So many people have different views on this. My FH and I agree, we shouldn't see eachother until I walk down the aisle :) I go so excited when I think of this!!!

We will probably meet at Old westbury Gardens for the first time, our ceremony isnt until 7pm. so we need to take pics with everyone etc. our photographer sets up a nice shot for our first meeting

Our photographer sort of talked us into seeing eachother before the ceremony just because we want to go to this castle up the road from our ceremony place before it gets dark out, plus I want to look my best in our photos.. So I will be seeing my FH before the ceremony, but so long as I see his face when he first see's me, that will be enough for me

FH is even funny about me sharing my dress shopping experience. He doesn't want the slightest clue about what I'm wearing or doing with my hair..he wants to be surprised and I love him for that!!

One of the things i look foward to most that day is seeing him for the first time as I am walking down the aisle and seeing his reaction. SO yes, we are waiting. and i cant wait!

While I will see him the night before, I won't see him the day of the wedding until he sees me coming down the aisle!!

I am just trying to figure out how to keep myself from crying my eyes out!

Isnt the first one and last one the same anyways I will not see my FH the night before or the morning of the wedding until I walk down that aisle in my gown. I dont know if I am suppose to talk to him either over the phone before the wedd

yeah FH is the same way...ill even test him and say Ooo wanna see pics of my dress and he gets mad lol.

Up until yesterday he also said he didnt want to see my hair and make up which at first i was like HUH why? but yesterday he was like i really wanna see it now and see what you will look like, he saw the work she does and he is like i am so curious to see what they'll do to you haha.

We're taking pictures before-hand for several reasons....

**We don't have a lot of time between the church and the CH and since we really don't want to waste time doing a receiving line, we'd like to be at the CH to meet and greet our guests.

**The post on the 06 and/or Newlywed board of the pictures from the girls who saw the DH before hand I really loved and was a huge motivating factor.

**I don't want any stress to show thru in our pictures and I feel like, for us, if we squeezed a ton of pictures into the short amount of time between ceremony and CH that stress will be palpable.

**I want to remember every single aspect of the ceremony. I feel like if I don't see FH before I will be way more nervous and won't hear a word of what's being said throughout our vows and such.

**I feel like FH won't hold back emotionally if there aren't 150 eyes staring at him waiting for emotion to pour out. Without the pressure I feel like true emotions will come out.

**This time before the ceremony will probably be the only time during the day that FH and I will be together without being torn apart to go meet and say hello to other people... it's so important to me that we have some time that day to be together.

i think it's easier if you are getting married in a church and have some time before the reception to not see FH before hand.

Since I am getting married at the same place, we don't have any gaps,...and this makes it harder for us to wait to see each other at the aisle.

at first i really wanted to wait, but after talking to some photographers, and other brides getting married at the same place as the RH, it just doesn't matter to me as much anymore. As long as I get a private moment when he first sees me, im all good with that.

Aww how cute! I know that when it gets closer he will be more curious...but I'm not showing anything! I want him to be surprised! As for 'are the first and last ?'s the same?'....The first one is asking if you are waiting JUST the day of NOT to see eachother....I know that some people do not believe in seeing eachother the night before either...
