Are you watching the Winter Olympics?

What events do you pay the most attention to?
I don't know if I'll watch this year. (Though I might watch the curling or luge event given their 'random' factor.)

Curling really is SO random.

Hmm - I am sure I will be watching hockey - FH is a fanatic. This weekend we watched the girls hockey team. I will usually stop and watch the skiing if I flip onto it - but that is more cause I am the most god-awful skiier in the whole world (so I find it amazing how they are SO awesome and I can't manage the bunny slope! )

I watched some speed skating, ski jumping, figure skating pairs... waiting for men's hockey to start tomorrow

I don't plan on watching- I am annoyed my regular show are not on!

Last time I skiied I was asked to leave the mountain by the ski patrol - they said I was a hazard to the other skiier's safety The time before I somehow lost my poles while going down, and ended up in a big pile of snow at the bottom of the hill (the little kids going by on the ski lift proceeded to point and laugh! ). Fh keeps thinking he can convince me to go skiing again - silly boy!

The ski patrol told you to leave?
The only time I skiied I knocked down 3 children on the bunny slope; I couldn't figure out how to walk in the boots and I fell down the stairs in the lodge, taking an older man down with me. Instead of coming off of the lift and just skiing like everyone else, I fell onto the ground and people tripped over me because I was in their way. But the ski patrol never found me to call me a hazard - maybe it's because I hid the rest of the day?

I didn't take down any elderly or children though Actually the kids were zooming by me, and I thought they would take me down! It is a little bit of an ego burst when I am doing the V all the way down, and these little 2 feet tall kiddies are zooming past!

Absolutely no interest whatsoever!

Not even hockey? We watched a bunch of chic hockey &
the pairs short program in figure skating. I love figure skating, but HATE ice dancing!

DH is waiting for curling, he also loves the random factor.
I like to watch a good crazy ski jump or 2, but I don't follow it.

If you really want random, try the Biathaon or Skeleton.

love watching snowboarding (though watching the athletes at the XGames are more exciting than at the Olympics)

(Also am looking forward to watching curling...that is the #1 thing i'd love to see in-person!)
