Who's wearing a watch or not? I would feel lost without it, but would it look better without it?

Re: Are you wearing a watch?
I did not wear one...I would not have wanted to...I might have kept looking at it to see how much time was left. I much rather enjoyed having no idea what time it was but just enjoying the moments.
I was advised NOT to wear a watch...b/c you don't want to be seen (by guests or by camera) checking the time...

I don't think it would be appropriate no matter how dressy the watch. JMO. I saw a bride wearing one and it popped out everytime she moved her arm!

Re: Are you wearing a watch?
I wanted to wear one, but everyone talked me out of it. I really didn't check the time that often, but I did while I was dancing with my dad (we aren't that close, it was more a formality) and its on video me checking his watch. How embarrassing, but we were trying to figure out how much more time was left.

i'm definitely not wearing my watch. although it's dressy, i do not think it is appropriate for a wedding.

Re: Are you wearing a watch?
Thanks girls, at least now I won't waste time (ha ha) looking for the perfect watch to match my gown!! However, I guess I will have to concentrate on the Perfect Braclet... and the way things are going the only thing that would look right would be a pearl bracelet or a silver/plantinum bracelet ...and as we all know most of them come with diamonds!! Poor FI What do you think?

I'm also lost without a watch, but I'm definitely not wearing one. A friend of mine advised me to not wear one now so that I don't have a white band around my wrist when I get married.
