All the sudden now that FH and I are thinking we're going to get married in a church I want a second dress. AHHHHHHHHHHH now what? I would like to know from you ladies if you're wearing two dresses, why and how are you going to pull it off and what style are you going to wear at what time.. and for those of you who are only wearing one dress what made that decision for you..
I'm starting to stress over the little things!!
I have a ballgown style vera wang that I love!! but in a church I picture myself in lace.. I also think it would be nice to have the dress we were married in to wear on our honeymoon one night but I can't go out in a ball gown!!! now I'm all torn :(

I have thought about getting 2 dresses but more for if we do something after the wedding. (I am having a day wedding) It also depends on what I spend for my wedding dress.

personally I am wearing one. I'm having a hard enough time finding one that I love, let alone me looking for two. ALSO I have always figured once I find 'the dress' I should not want to ever take it off, otherwise it wasnt 'the one'. You know what i mean?

I'm wearing a lace Pronovias dress the whole night. I have heard of some people who wear their mother's dress for the church and then their own for the reception. Idk if it is something you would want to do, but it's an option. I wouldn't buy a second dress though, especially because a vera wang should be worn the entire day/night- it's too nice of a designer to not wear it for everything

I'm wearing one, but it's really two dresses in one! For the church, I'm wearing it with a bolero and a bird cage veil. For the reception, I'm taking the bolero off and nixing the veil for a custom made feather and stone hair clip (made by me!). I wanted two dresses, but opted to change my accesories for the same idea but half the price!
