For those of you who are wearing a tiara, are you keeping it on for the whole reception? Or taking it off after the ceremony....
I was planning on keeping mine on for the whole night, since I won't have a veil after the ceremony. My FH says he always thought that you're supposed to take your headpiece off for the reception. Now he's got me confused!!

I kept my headpiece on and my veil! Why not? It was expensive and it is the only time I ever got to wear it!

I will wear mine all night. If I try to take it out I would probably really mess up my hair.

Re: Are You Wearing Your Tiara for the Reception?
Leaving it on! Three reasons: (1) I LOVE IT! (2) When else will I ever really get to wear a tiara, and (3) I'd be afraid of messing up my hair once its all done and that ****er is pinned to my head
Edited to say 'when did s u c k e r become too bad to post?' I guess I should have used 'stinker'?

Re: Are You Wearing Your Tiara for the Reception?
I am not wearing a tiara..
I just think its funny to imagine my FH having an opinion either way on that topic.. he would be like 'your wearing a what?'. I am sure he wouldn't have a clue as to the etiquette or tradition of wearing a tiara.
It just makes me laugh to even imagine this discussion with him

Too funny! It's true. My FH has been very involved in the plans. At the beginning, he even started to send me pictures of wedding gowns he liked!!!! I said, 'No way! Now you've gone way too far!!'

Keep it on - you'll ruin your hair if you take it off! Plus, when else can you wear a tiara!! I will probably take off the veil though.

Definately keeping the tiara on. Not sure yet about the veil. I don't actually have one yet - I thought making my own SOUNDED like a good idea
