I always thought I'd keep it on all night, and now I am thinking I may want to take it off. What are you guys doing?

I wore all night. I do regret not taking it off during the reception. The back of my dress was so pretty and it was blocked by the veil

I always said hell no, it's coming off. But after buying it and loving it so much I think I'm going to keep it on. Not to mention Dad paid and I'll bet if I don't wear it, he will. hahaha

I am taking mine off after the pictures and ceremony. My friend who recently got married complained all night because everytime someone hugged her, the veil would get pulled, and by the end of the night she had a headache from it getting pulled so much. And I actually experienced the same thing at my bachorette party, my girls made me a veil to wear, and everytime someone hugged me my head was getting pulled back!

My dress's selling point was it's back. I have to wear a veil for religious purposes for the ceremony but if I wear it all night, the whole dress is pointless. The veil is coming off. The dress was too expensive to cover it up. Not spending that much $$ on the veil in the first place.

I wore it for about 2 hours of the reception...took it off before the cake cutting...best of both worlds and I don't regret it at all. Actually, my DH wanted me to take it off because he loved my tiara comb.

I planned on taking mine off to show my hair (it was in a very pretty French twist), and the back of my dress, but I never made it to the bathroom to take it off! Every time I thought to do it, someone came over to congratulate us or ask a question. By the time I had a chance again, they were rolling out the cake, and I figured why bother?

the day of my wedding i had my hair done, figured id keep the veil on all night bc it was so expensive....let's just say i was so freekin hot that right after my first dance that thing i did was run to the bridal suite to try to get the veil off. after pulling out the 35 bobby pins, i was free!!!!!!!!!! here are pics, with veil and without.
I plan on taking it out after a certain time (just not sure when). I'm wearing my hair down, and I also love the back of my dress, so I'll be buying and inexpensive veil!
