are you worried about people spilling on your dress?

I have a friend who always gets sloppy drunk and on NYE she tried to dance with a martini. It wasn't a pretty sight and she spilled all over me and a few others. Aside from staying away from people like her and anyone else holding a drink, is there anything we can do?

I'd hate to have someone drop cocktail hour food on me or spill on me etc...

Im having my bridal attendantbring me some food - thats how my hall does it - so while im out at CH - im not scavenging like the rest - and i have a bridal bib for dinner if i want - jason got it- and im just gonna be extra careful!

my dress is taffeta and the woman in the bridal salon told me that the fabric is very delicate and be careful what i put near it. I think i need to go around in a bubble like the pope!

You know, I am not really worried about this. Once pictures are done ... I'm never gonna wear it again, so I am not too worried about spillage. If soemthing gets on me, I will quickly try to get it off - but I can't worry too much about it because it'll never be worn again!

HOLY COW!!!!

I was just talking about this to a co-worker today!!!

I was saying how I am worried that during the reception people will be dancing with drinks and I hope they didnt spill on me.

You know, I am not really worried about this. Once pictures are done ... I'm never gonna wear it again, so I am not too worried about spillage. If soemthing gets on me, I will quickly try to get it off - but I can't worry too much about it because it'll never be worn again!

I thought I was going to be. I had a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony right after our real ceremony (we pour tea to our elders in exchange for gifts). And we had over 30 people to serve and i was so worried that someone would trip or drop their cup of tea on my dress since we were in a small space.

But as it turns out, the bottom of my dress got completely dirty after my pre-ceremony pictures....and no one even noticed (nor did I care at that point).

my dress got so jacked up that night..it got dirth underneath the train of course and my bustly broke and it was draggin on the floor all night

i was over i..i danced the night away like i wasnt wearing a 30lb dress

I think I'm more worried about ME spilling on me Seriously, I may have to consider looking into a coordinating bib cuz I ALWAYS spill something on myself

no if it happenes it happenes my mom has coffee and icecream on hers LMAO hopefully it wont but ill take the chance and just be careful

I got lucky- we were in the bridal suite all the time- they even had a tablecloth to put over my gown as I ate.

I'm woried about ME spilling something on me. I am not not known for my neatness. And we have to use red wine during our ceremony... I may need a bib.

i will keep a tide pen handy...i figure though that after the ceremony and pics, my dress will be kinda dirty by then

I was in the beginning but I think that after I dance my first dance I will ok and I want care after that lol

I never really thought about it...but that's definitely a huge possiblility...i'm clumsy...but i'm not too worried about anyone else spilling something on my dress for some reason..

I've worried about someone spilling on my dress in the limo and am considering asking them to only have clear liquids available. Never thought about being spilled on at the reception...

I am known as clutzo....I spill, drip, drop everything on me and am super scared!

Also...I attended a bar mitzfah (sp?) when I was younger wearing a cream dress....someone spilled red wine ALL OVER IT! I was mortified! We ran to the bathroom and got alot of it out! Anyway, I will be bringing a tide pen too!!!!

Now thats how i want to be - dancing the night away with the 50lb dress on - not caring about the dirt
