Do you have any recommendations about where my BMs can get their shoes dyed to match dresses ? Also can you tell me how much it costs? Any info is greatly appreciated!

If you purchase the shoes at Bridal Shoe Boutique in Westbury they die them for free... Then sfter the wedding they will die the shoes black so your BM's can get more use out of them

OMG, I was going to post this, thanks for reminding me. I had to get shoes dyed for my cousins wedding and found a GREAT place today. It is called Cherrywood Shoe Repair. It is in the cherrywood shopping center on Wantagh Avenue. I had shoes that were a light celedon and the guy stood there with me mixing dyes to color over the green to make them periwinkle. He was so nice and I have to go back tomorrow to see how they came out and if I want a second coat. I highly recommend this place. And it only cost $18 to dye them. I thought that was pretty reasonable. I am so happy with them. I know a lot of places will not dye over another color, but this guy had no problem!! Their number is 221-4255. I think they also give better rates if you have a whole bridal party getting done! Good Luck!!

if you buy the shoes at Shoe Elegance in Lynbrook, they dye them for free, and after the wedding they dye them to black for free as long as you still have your receipt
