mine does the same thing..its getting looser now that its starting to get cold..i thought i wanted it resized but when i got a ring guard i realized it was then too tight...i had to use soap and water to get the thing off...so im just going to leave it...it doesn't go over my knuckle easily

Re: Are your e-rings loose?
yes! like everyone said - btwn losing weight and the cold weather all my rings are flipping all day. I have to find the ring guard I got when I first got my ring before it was sized. I too am afraid to have it sized again because I want it to fit when we have kids! But for now it's just annoying!

YES my e-ring always got loose and I hated it when that happened.
So I got the balls put in! Best decision I ever made! It fits perfect and I can always get them removed if I need to.

Re: Are your e-rings loose?
He bought me a size 5 but I apparently lost weight in my FINGER so now it's more like a 4 1/2. So they put the 'tiffany balls' in. & My knuckle is much bigger than my finger so it defiatly is loose But wont fall off bc of my huge knuckles!!!

What exactly are 'the balls' and do they make your ring less top heavy? (P.S. I hope this does not get edited for content).

Re: Are your e-rings loose?
I had the same thing. FH proposed last November and from the cold, the ring was too loose. So we had the stablilizers put in also. During the summer it was fine. Now that it is getting colder again, the ring is moving all around. Also, I got up from my desk one day and the ring completely fell off my finger. I think we are gonna see if they can make the balls in the ring a little bigger instead of having it resized.

I have the balls too. They work really well! They are just two tiny little gold balls (literally) that they put onto the inside of your ring. Depending on the size of your ring and finger depends on how big the balls are. I have noticed that my ring does not spin as much, but I am not sure if that is just because it fits snug right now. They don't 'affect' the band itself so you can always get them taken off.

Mine is spinning like crazy too..I wouldn't worry as long as it's not going past your knuckle..

My ring always gets loose when it's cold out or when I'm cold. When it's hot out my fingers swell and my ring gets tighter. I don't think you should resize it... I think that's normal.
Same here, I agree!

Re: Are your e-rings loose?
Mine gets a little lose but it would never come off on its own (can't get past my knuckle) so I am fine the way it is. I'd rather have it a little lose than too tight.

Re: Are your e-rings loose?
Mine is spinning around like crazy!! It's cold out but I also already lost about 7 lbs, YAY, so I am freaked it will get so loose it might fall off!! My friend had the balls put in. She said it takes some getting used to but that once she was used to it it fit perfect and they dont have to cut your ring or anything! So I might do that...

I have two ball in my ring too. My ring is normally tight in the morning and when I've had a lot of salt (yummy Mexican).
LOL I have the two balls in my ring too .. since i resized it 2x and it was still big we decided to get the balls cuz my fingers are ridiculously tiny but my knuckles are not so imagine the pain when i put it on w. the balls LOL

Re: Are your e-rings loose?
I was given the option to have balls put in mine( just don't sound right), but it can get annoying if you're not used to feeling it. Also, with the metal ring guards, I was told that it scratches the inside of your ring, which can wear away at the metal and destroy the polish.
DH bought my e-ring a whole size too big, and for a while i wore those cheap plastic ring spacers (annoying!). I had mine resized right before the wedding, but it still falls over. In fact, with my wedn ring, the side with the stones still falls over too.
I know that in the summer, and one day when i'm pregnant, my hands will swell up more, so I don't want to resize it permanently any more. I found this in Lucky magazine, anyone tried it yet? Ring Guard Solution
it's only $7 a tube, not a bad investment!

I went to get it resized, but they said it would be too tight, so they put stabilizers in. That worked for a while...
but now that it's cold out, my ring is wobbling all over the place. Anyone else have this problem? Should I just get it resized? just a few weeks ago, it was tough to get it off! is this normal?
Thanks!
I am having the same problem. I am not going to get it resized as long as it does fall off when I have my hand down. Remember just as your fingers shirink in the cold ....they also expand in the heat...

Re: Are your e-rings loose?
Mine is very lose without my 'ring-size adjuster' which are clear things you can put on the bottom of the ring. Miles Kimball.com sells like a 12 pack for less than $5. It's so worth it if your ring is always lose. Check them out.

yup same here..since its been so cold...the ering just turns around my finger....i have a ring guard on it too....i want to get it smaller but i figured id rather have it bigger than have it smaller and it wont fit anymore
