Are your FH's getting on your last nerves? (minivent)

Mine is...............
Must be the stress of planning. I love him more than anything, but we are literally at each other's throats about EVERYTHING.............
ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

My FH and I have our ups and downs. Last weekend I was ready to put him in front of a firing squad(fake bullets of course). The stress of planning does seem to take its toll. Just breathe and be patient.

OHHH YES!!! Last week was our week....we literally fought about/could not agree upon ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!
I think it's the planning stress, the money woes, the weather (I have cabin fever) and all the tension lately...with everything in the news.....

We took a break this weekend and actually didn't argue (SHOCKER) - but it's been constant lately!!!!!!!!!

Liz, sorry to hear this. Are your disagreements mostly wedding related? It will definetely pass.

Yesterday FH expressed his displeasure for me being on this site, saying that it is stupid and non productive. He said that he at least uses the computer for more productive things like checking stocks and looking for a job. I was pi$$ed, but I got over it. Men will be men, just ignore them

Maybe you should go out with the girls see a silly movie. Get away from each other for a little bit.

Most of the arguing is wedding related, some of it is just us bickering and he hates me on this site too.
I'm glad to see it's not just me tho, so hopefully we will all go back to loving relationships ALL the time when it's over

Last week, I could have choked him. He did and said the opposite of everything he was supposed to and he drove me crazy. This week he has been so perfect it's actually scary.

I dont have that problem....I say how about these for invites? He takea a glance and says whatever you want is fine with me, I trust you

I wish he would get more active...though I did get him to look at DJs with me and I made him choice.

I am also making him in charge of limos and the HM.. give him something that is only his to deal with. All the rest is me...

Liz it will get better.

Carl gets annoyed when I first run on this site. But I always say: well if I didn't have this site our wedding will be boring. Do you want boring and the norm? Or different, special and full of memories for everyone? I get the same answer all the time.

You need girly time. That helps me.

Yes. If I have to hear one more time about the big screen TV and house that he wants to buy, while we are still scraping together money for the wedding, I am going to scream.

This is how we are now getting past our disagreements - He says he wants a divorce, I say fine but I am taking all of the money, he says I can't do that, and I remind him that my name his on his checking account but his name is not on mine and I have all of the money and also that I am an attorney who practices divorce law so I'll take him to the cleaners. Then we crack up laughing and move on. It sounds strange but it works for us.

Lizlen2003:That is because your wedding is getting closer and the stress picks up now. There are so many vendors to pay off and vendors to meet with plus you are working all week. It will all be worth it when your wedding day comes.I promise.

Ha. All we did this weekend was bicker and beeotch at each other. I came in upset about some minor traffic BS, venting - and he freaks out and goes 'STOP YELLING. YOU'RE BEING ANNOYING!' So we had to have a sit down over him trying to control my behavior when I get upset, and him being empathetic instead of critical - because of course, the minor traffic BS was MY fault, not the other guy's (and FH wasn't even there!)

Ack.

Roger and I had more arguments during our wedding planning than in our entire relationship. It will be over soon, you'll see. Take it all in stride. Take a breather, walk away. Try not to bombard him with everything wedding related, it helps.

Shamma said it best. We went through the same thing. It eases up, try not to take it peronal.

Wow I thought I was the only one. Lizlen most married people say its normal. I guess both partners are stressed out and react to each other.

Paul hates that Im on here, but everytime I want to sit down with him and talk wedding, he acts like its a chore.

Oh well, once the wedding is over you can both sit back and exhale.

Hang in their girl, we are here for you.

I know what you mean girl, my job is making me nuts, and I come home to vent to my loving FH who- shrugs, and says, then get a new job! Um, hello?? I thought you would support me, and give me some encouragement. Its enough to make you crazy. Good thing we love them so

I have to say first FH & I don't argue about wedding plans or anything for that matter! In 3 1/2 years we have NEVER argued, bickered or even disagreed. We tend to always compromise. Second, he doesn't mind at all that I am on LIW.

I totally agree.... Pete & I hardly fought until we got engaged..... It's definitely the stress of it all! Hey Liz - at least Len has a job! Pete is still looking for one!

Don't worry, Lisa, Pete will find one

Thanks everyone, well we are surely not alone in our quest
So when he gets on my nerve, I'll just think of this thread and smile
