ARG MY BOSS!!!

So i had to leave the office to do an errand with FH (it's a family business - we all work together. Yes, his mother and father and are my bosses... don't get me started!).

We do our errand and I got back to the office at 3:15 (I leave at 4:30). The Mom says to me, 'Oh I meant to tell you to go home when you were done with what you were doing.'

This would be nice if she f-ing remembered! AND this is not the first time! She's done this to me many times before. Same words! 'Oh I meant to tell you to go home.' WTFFFFFF Why even say anything? Should I think she's being nice for saying that??? Ugh, Vent kinda done. Whatever.

yes...this is what people do to sound nice....they dont really mean it (mom or not)...

the politically correct answer (IMHO) is 'o, thats nice...but i wanted to get a few more things done'

if you do it or not...people (umm, bosses) want to hear you are dedicated to your job

so just grin at bear it...sorry....bosses can suck...

if they meant it, they WOULD have told you BEFORE you left....

so just fake the 'thank you' and move on.....

ugh, that would drive me mad too! especially on a friday!

Ugh definitely good advice and I HAVE gone that route before, but today I stayed silent for fear of blowing up.

She bothers me so much. What stinks is that I actually liked her before I started working here.

sorry girl. i really couldnt imagine working with any relatives.

but maybe its better to try to think of her as two separate people...idk....good luck!! get out of work!
