Maybe your cousin took his offer the wrong way. Sometimes people have a habit of miscondtrewing the truth. Although he may have only said, 'Hey, if you guys need any help with anything dont hesitate to let me know' She took it as 'You guys are doing a real crappy job so let me flaunt my money in your face and make it better'.

It will all work out for the best... Last month I was in your position and had to 'get in the middle' for my own shower. My advice to you is Don't worry, THings happen for a reason. You may not see it now through the smoke but it will work out.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. Why do people feel they have to be so dramatic? I hope things work out because it's hard to have family turn their backs especially at such a special time in your live.

The only thing i can offer is that weddings bring out real insecurities and jealousy in people. I don't know if that is what is happening here but it happened to me and other girls i know.
You really see the true side of people (both good and bad) when you get married. You can have friends and family that you think you are so close too are ask them to be a part of your special day that can't handle it and make drama and issues to show their insecurities about stuff.
I know its hard to do but don't let it get to you. This is YOU and FH's time. Don't let this petty stuff bother you until after the wedding.
That is what i did and it made me feel so much better.

Would you consider swallowing your pride and apologizing that she took your FI the wrong way and was hurt by it. By saying it that way, you are not saying that what he did was wrong or right. If you guys mean as much to each other as you say, then the relationship wouldn't end over such a silly argument.
