So I emailed lanab's makeup artist and asked about his rates. His only wedding rate is now 1500 for the bride plus 4 people. Being that I'm not on a celebrity income, he's out. I'm kind of pissed. I mean he's not like oprah's makeup artist...who does he think he is?
How does someone have the balls to ask for that much when it takes them what an hour? I mean, yes I know he's good, but come on.
That is ridiculous for makeup.
Yeah, I'm disappointed. I used to work at a makeup counter and I did wedding makeup myself, so I'm very picky. I want a super awesome makeup artist, and his work looks great. I'm willing to spend a bit more bank on makeup, but I just afford 1500, that's outrageous. He said that's the only package he offers now. At that price range, I think it's like stealing from people.
