Im from out of state, but I am helping my sis plan her wedding.
She found Ariana Waterfall online, and we wanted to know any rants/raves about the food/service/or venue in general...
Pics, video, DJ, flowers, and food for 100 people for 12k sounds too good to be true... Im aware the decor isnt the nicest, but she is wiling to overlook if the rest of the package is...
Thanks for any and all comments!

Re: Ariana Waterfall
it's in hempstead which I live close too.. to be honest.. its not great. Its right on a major tpke no location for pictures. i have not ever been to a party there soI cannot say how the service is but its not what you are picturing. there is a small corner to take pictures but you are practically in the street doing it. If you are looking for inexpensive places in nassau I can let you know of a few better options.

Does it matter if it's Suffolk or Nassau?

Re: Ariana Waterfall
Do you have anything specific that you are looking for? Large party? Small? On the water? By gardens? One wedding at a time? etc etc

Re: Ariana Waterfall
What about the Sandcastle in Franklin Square or The Coral House in Baldwin?? I heard they have packages like that for great prices. Also, my FH's mom used to work at the Coral House and said the food is great!! They have location for pics outside and in =)

Re: Ariana Waterfall
It'll be appx 100-120 guest, I dont have a exact budget, but I know the lower cost the better.
As for the water vs garden, it doesnt matter much - I know great food is a requirement.
Ariana Waterfall just caught their eye due to the cost and how much was included... She'd love reasonable price, but not to serve terrible food.

Re: Ariana Waterfall
If she's on a budget and wants a nice place, that is clean, has new bathrooms and is under $13K on a Saturday night in peak season and serves only one wedding at a time with everything (all vendors)...check out Brentwood Country Club. Its further out in LI, but it is worth it compared to Ariana Waterfall. Its not off a busy road, its on a golf course, they have an outside or pictures, cocktail hour and the club is closed to members when there is a wedding. You'll at least have good food, nice decor and the place to yourself.
Another place that is reasonbly priced and I heard good things about...Med Manor.com Beach Club Estate - 1 wedding at a time and nice outside, good food...right on the lake - great for pics.
There are a lot...like some of the places the other ladies mentioned above.

If you're looking for a place that has a package deal I would reccomend the Holiday Inn in Plainview. It's a hotel, but I've heard great things and its very pretty.

Re: Ariana Waterfall
Coral House is definitely reasonably priced but there are no all inclusive packages there to my knowledge. They do have a room that can hold the amount of guest you are looking for in the Nantucket Deck. It's definitely worth checking out and I love it, but if you are looking for an all inclusive with photo, limo, and dj then it may not be the place you are looking for.
