Arrrrgggg went dress shopping....

Original post by cdh2672

This is going to be harder than I thought..... I promised myself I wouldn't get discouraged even if I went to 10 different bridal shops (so far I went to 3).

Also, why do they bring you dresses to try on that you said from the start you didn't want that specific style? Why do they always make you feel you don't have much time to order a dress (well I kinda know why they do that...). Why can't I just find a dress I like?

Ok..vent session over!

6 months is safe!!

I have a friend who got her dress in February for a June wedding so don't stress out.. it all depends on the dress designer and how the store operates.. most of the time they just want to make a sale!!

i would also recommend village bridal in babylon

the have a lot of dresses there in a lit of different price ranges.

They dont rush you and i think they were the only place who actually listened to what i liked and disliked.

good luck
PS we are date twins!

Don't get discouraged! You will find 'the one!' I, too, ended up loving a dress that was TOTALLY not my style at all! It just fit. I didn't break down into hysterics or anything but I just knew it was mine Don't freak just yet, you have time
