arrrrr..quick vent

If I hear from one more who says I am plannig and locking myself into things way too early why ask where I am in planning.....now I should have kept looking at places and why would I be stuck and want to choose a photgrapher now when there are so many out there that aren't online.....

LOL!!! I understand!!

I'm not getting married until next year; but am starting to look now b/c i don't want a year full of 'IF' and 'Maybe's' and 'I think' if i fall in love with a hall now; i really doubt they'll have a new one built in the next 20 months. So it's good to start look at halls now and if you find one you love lock in your date AND PER PERSON PRICE otherwise you'll just guessing-well i think my hall costs such & such $$ pp only to find out it's actually more!!

I just feel planing early; easies some of the stress AND allows you to budget better.

Try telling them 'We need TWO YEARS TO PAY FOR IT' LOL!

.....I like what I like and I like planning early!she wanted me to visit each and every hall in nassau county.....
So I can make an informed descision.....I saw five that I absoulty wanted to see which were after I saw FT and I still went with FT.....

they're just jealous!!! hah.
i booked my RH 2 years ahead of time. i knew what i wanted, and i got 2009 rates. win/win!
i'm ready to book my photographer. i know who i want, i know i'll always think 'what if' if i don't book him, and i know my wedding is at a prime month so i don't want to risk losing him.

Forget what people say, unless they are helping you pay for the wedding especially the RH they should have no say what so ever, You decided to go with that hall because you loved it!

I personally love our RH (since we are RH twins) the food is EXCELLENT the people are great and we have a beautiful ballroom.....so don't worry too much about what family/friends have to say, enjoy the time you have planning your wedding since time will fly by so fast and before you and I know it, we will be married

btw they now have new chairs!!!!!!!!! (in case you didn't know)

I have 2 cousins one got married in Sept of 2008 got married in 9 months and my cousin who was enaged in Sept having her wedding in Aug of 2010 so I look like the freckin weirdo who got engaged Xmas of 2008 whose been planing the wedding for over a year now. But you know what Im getting married on a Sat night at one of the best RH on LI and paying almost a 1/3 less then they did Oh and I dont have crazy $3000 payments one month after another like my cousin.

Just let it slide your almost at the year mark

i do my cousin getting married in Aug is my BM and im her BM so she was like when is your next payment Im like May and its only like $1000 and then I was like yeah I only have May and Sept and no more payments till the week of the wedding.
