Artisan Photography

My fiance and I went to go look at Artisan Photography tonight. Their pictures look amazing. He also showed us a 10 minute highlight video from someones wedding, which also looked great. I don't know if they are going to fit into my budget though

I love Artisan. I thik we're going to book. They're about average priced, but you get SO much for the money that other studios charge an arm and a leg for. If you're looking to spend less $$, Duet and Patken both have less expensive packages, but I also think they are all digital, which is why I didn't look at them. I'm a fi;m girl. Artisan is great b/c u get the best of both worlds. It's shot on film, but you get it converted to digital

That is my issue... film or digital... I've been told by different places that the other is better.. I don't know who to listen to. In theory, digital SHOULD be cheaper since it is much easier to enhance, etc.. but the packages i've looked at all seem to be comparable in price to each other and 2 were all digital and the other i think was mostly film with some digital. I have another appt this week... I think I'm going to look at like 10 places before i can make a decision.... We've seen JoVon, Queens Bridal Center & Creative Compositions... they were all expensive but JoVon was definitely #1 is photos for us....so far... Does anyone have any package info for Artisan??

The thing I liked about Artisan is that you get both fi;m and digital. I've heard a horror story or two about JoVon from friends who used them, but hopefully its's isolated

Artisan's photo packages (when i looked, which was a year ago) started at $3300 and ran up to $5000. They all included 600+ proofs, negs, proofs and online proofs, albums, BP photos, thank yous, engagement shoot, etc.

I'm a real believer in film, but I also know there's a lot you can do with digital. I loved that you get both!

I dont know what your budget is, but I have shopped around, and Chuck definately gives the MOST for your money. I looked at quite a few places and I wasnt even half as impressed with their stuff as I was Chucks. FH and I booked him on the spot.
Hope that helps, good luck!!!

Yea..we decided that we're going to book Chuck. We made the appointment to sign the contract next week!! We're excited about it. Even though it's a little over our budget, we know we'll be getting awesome pictures and we won't have to worry about anything.
