Aruba ?

We are going to Aruba next March for a friend's destination wedding. I got a quote for airfare and hotel for seven nights at the Marriot for 3620 for my husband and I. Is this a good price?

Jet Blue isn't posting airfare until 6 months prior, so it is not out. And we aren't looking for all inclusive this time.

Then that quote sounds a little high

You should book with JET BLUE. Also, you can keep a fare watch on ORBITZ. It will tell you when the flight is the cheapest. We got our flight in April for about 600 (with tax). That is pretty good for Aruba. Check out staying at Radisson, Hyatt, or Wyndahm. There are all inclusive hotels but they ar far off the strip. They might be cheaper than Mariott. Also, the Marriott is at the end of the strip. Let me know if you want the names of any GREAT resturants. We lov Aruba, it's the best island! ENJOY

Re: Aruba ?

I don't think that's so bad - when we went we paid about that for the Radisson (maybe a little less) and airfare for two and we went in August, but I've only been once, prior to Jet Blue's flying there and I don't know much about travel. I just remember pricing all the hotels and finding they were all in the same range for when we were booking and when we were going. Can you make a cancelable hotel reservation and wait on the flight? March is quite a ways away from now.
