I begged and begged for them to tell me about the group that booked most of the rooms----after 3 calls I finally got it out of them...some medical conference.
I decided to book with them anyway.
They room I have is on a private floor and the elevators don't stop there unless u have a key. The floor even has a lounge for everyone staying on the floor with free beer and wine ( ). I can't wait to go!

You should ask them what the group is. Or check the website...maybe it's a convention and it's listed.

Marriott Stellar is under construction, if looking into the Marriott ask for the Surf Club it is beautiful, the newest hotel is the RUI which is spectacular but expensive.

We stayed at the Radisson and it was beautiful and centrally located! We thought it had the best restaurants and grounds.

Re: Aruba dilemma: Help!
hi. we are going to aruba for our honeymoon next year and we booked at the bucuti beach resort. it's not near the high rise hotels and caters to couples so we felt it would be quieter....it's a smaller hotel down the beach from what we understand. i don't know if this is something you are interested in, but thought i'd throw it out there.

i agree...we wanted to stay at the Bucuti but by the time I convinced DH it was all sold out..we stayed at the occidental which was fine, but we went and checked out the Bucuti while there and it just seemed quieter, which we both prefer..if you search on here there are a few Bucuti reviews by past brides and the place sounds great!! good luck...

Check out the Radisson...FH and I just went in September and LOVED it! It didn't seem as crowded as the others - the beach is very spread out! They are on the pricey side - but so is the Hyatt!
