Aruba girls!!!!!
SO my friend goes to Aruba every year with her boyfriend. She sent me this email about great restaurants and things we must do. I'm going to send it here to help you girls.
Here is her email:
' I am gonna give you definties that you need to go to and then some if you get a chance to go to others I will list those. When in doubt Aruba has the freshest Fish I dont eat fish ever besides there....so good!
Definites Restaurants!
El Gaucho - this is a brazilian steackhouse and every1 who goes to aruba LOVES it...they have great sangria and I order the churrascio steak... so delicious and wonderful fried cheesecake. They have 2 guys who come sing to you :) love them LOL they take requests
**Madame Janettes - This is going to be expensive but worth every penny. They have great fish and pastas and meat amazing. It is kinda outside but in an air conditioned tent so it has a really nice ambiance :) Candle lite...Almond Encrsuted Grouper is the best!
Flying Fishbone - This is kinda far and thats why I asked if u were renting a car....it is near the airport but it is by far AMAZING...you literally sit at a table on the beach there is a hook for your shoes & candle lite it is amazing! Great seafood and worth it!!!!! So the cab ride it expensive but hey its your honeymoon who cares haha - so this is a DEFINITE romantic not many times in your lifetime experience!
Azzurro - italian
Sole Mare - really good but same owner as Azzuro so only go to 1 :) and I would do Azzuro b/c of the ambiance
Those are the definites :) and perfect for a honeymoon others that are also great are
The Screaming Eagle (they have like the white bed lounges that u eat on)
Driftwood - Great and extrememly fresh seafood
Texas De Brazil - Bring your appetite it is an all u can eat brazilian churrascharia place Alot of food ( go to el gaucho be4 u go here)
Chalet Suisse - This is kinda like a french/american cuisine.... they have like duck and pork chops and meat etc....people love it here!!! I would rather Italian but that is me lol..it is delicious & people love the duck with orange glaze
They have a Ruth Chris Steakhouse(which is in the marriott where you stay) and a few sushi places that are delicious as well.
The Pier- Go here for lunch it is very casual but they have amazing grouper :)
Also you can eat dinner on the beach at the Hyatt..you get a personal server and candle light in a gazebo on beach I htink it is crazy expensive but again its your honeymoon lol
be careful with the cabs..it is like their individual cars/career LOL in Aruba and the ppl are really nice... and it is like an independent type of thing so don't let them charge u too much (its not like our yellow taxi's) so don't let them charge u too much but most of the time they are good and depending on how far the ride is :)
If u do water sports walk around and ask a few places for different prices u can def talk the ppl down and negitiate-
we have done ATV rentals and that was nice b/c u get to go all around the island :0) we didn't do a tour its better by yourself LOL 1 shot deal 4 me tho drew loved it ..its a great way to see the Island and if you want toknow the hostory should probably do a guided tour- they have that with the ATV's ...parasailing is beautiful also & the jet skis are fun fun :) they also have horseback riding on the beach Drew and I haven't done that yet and Im upset bc year after year I want to and we never do LOL this year maybe!
As far as night life there are bars in town etc and of course the carlos and charlies but we never have gone not our scene! Casinos are fun the one at the Hyatt is the nicest.'
