Aruba or Cancun (riveria )

any feedback on them? where did you stay?

I would go to Riviera Maya. Been there twice and didn't have any complaints. We stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo but if you want a more secluded couples only resort go to the Secrets Excellence.

I've been to Aruba on a cruise and wasn't thrilled. I was expecting a really tropical island..turns out it's more desert-y than tropical. It's pretty, but not what I expected. It is REALLY windy too!!!!

I'm probably not much help since I haevn't been to either, but we're going to the Mayan Riviera and are staying at El Dorado Seaside Suites...ins an all inclusive, but pretty small and its really laid back and away from the wild partiers...looks totally romantic.

I've been to RM many many times. I work for a travel wholesaler and have toured many of the hotels there. Beautiful.
I haven't been to Aruba so I can't comment on that but Mexico is great.
I've stayed at Iberostar Del Mar, Playacar Palace, Barcelo Tropical, Dreams Tulum...

I would suggst the new Iberostar grand. Its brand new and adults only. I saw it being built in November and it was awesome. I had some collegaues there recently and they raved about it. Beach is gorgeous there too!
