Re: Aruba question
I went to Aruba for our HM and stayed 8 days. I wanted 10 but DH argued that it was already too much money! LOLI am the sit on the beach drinking all day soaking in the sun type though. We did some activities, but not many. We went out to dinner a lot, even though we had an all-inclusive plan. The food there is amazing! I can't wait to go back someday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Aruba question
I recommend a nice long HM if you can do it, its exactly what you need after all the wedding planning. I could sure relax on the beach for a bunch of days.

Re: Aruba question
aruba is terrific!!! i have gone before and stayed at a time share, la cabana beach resort. there is tons to do. there are party boats, submarine rides, casinos, las vegas type shows with tigers and stuff, nightclubs, beaches, and pleanty of shopping, and outrageous restaruants!!! there is definitly enough to do to fill 10 days.

Re: Aruba question
we were there 8 days and easily could have stayed another 2. There are several excursions you could do to different parts of the island, snorkeling, etc....probably at least 2 -3 days worth. Then rent a scooter or something and explore on your own....definitely do a sunset sail. If you like to gamble at all, that could kill a few evenings....I think you'll be fine! Also, I think you could even take a side trip to Venezuela for 3 days, although this is probably expensive.

Can you swim with the dolphins in Aruba?
I don't remember seeing this.
We spent 10 days for our HM and i could of stayed another 10. They have so many plasces to eat and so many activities adn then there are days that you just hang out. I love Aruba you will not be disappointed.
Also the nightlife is great, they have bar crawls, and every hotel has great things to do like Casinos, beach parties. Only thing they really did not have was like shows.
I stayed at the Marriot it was great. ANd if you love balconies they have the best one on the islands.
