Re: Aruba review- Part 1 (restaurant review tom'w)
stacedz (not to knock you bride02) but i suggest renting your own jeep for the following reasons:1-you tour the island at your OWN pace and alone is so much more romantic. you can stop & be alone & do whatever you want!
(hehhee) you wont get lost, follow the maps the airport and/or hotels give you.you arent rushed by doing it alone. you can snorkel in the natural pool for 1 hour or more if you want, stay at baby beach for the day if you want etc...
whenever we go to the natural pool, we bring our own snorkleing stuff, and everyone asks us if they can use our stuff to see the fish
and say they wish they brought their own stuff and didn't know there was snorkeling to do their but the fish are amazing in the natural pool!3-its nice having your own jeep for the week to go see whatever you want, whenever you want!
4-there are so many places the jeep tour DOESN'T take you!
Also, the LaCabana is nice but not like the Radisson, Hyatt or Marriot but we stayed at the LaCabana & loved it although through the past 2 years, its not as nice as it used to be.
If anyone is interested I am typing up a whole word document this weekend on TONS of Aruba stuff for my friend.
Bride02 seems to have done alot of it but theres alot more. (i only know cause i went 2x once was for 2 weeks) I also got engaged there!!!
If anyone is interested forum mail me.

Re: Aruba review- Part 1 (restaurant review tom'w)
I definitely agree that you should rent a jeep. We've already decided to rent one on our trip back. I still think it's going to be a challenge to find some places on our own, but it's not so difficult once you've been before. It really helps you save money if you don't need a taxi to get everywhere.Be sure to rent a JEEP, not a car. You'll be really limited without a jeep!
We went for 12 days and we can't wait to go back for more! From the post above, I see that we have a lot more to see!!
