ARUBA...hotel?

My DH and I are planning on taking a mini vacation for our 1 year anniversary this June.

We are stuck between two hotels:

1) Occidental
2) Tamaram and Divi

I hear the Occidental is nicer and has better food and if we stay at the Divi we will stay at the Condos in Divi Dutch Village - this resort has more resturants of course, because we have rights to both hotel.

Any recommendations would be great. We have to book soon in order to get the spring rate. Thanks for all your help.

I'm staying at the Occidental....It is all pretty new- They renovated the entire place.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE the Divi! Dont stay at the Tamajarin (spelling??) because it targets mostly families but I had some great Italian food there! The restaurant at the Divi that overlooks the beach (can't remember the name) is amazing and FH highly recommends the coconut shrimp!

I went to the Tamarijn this past summer with my family. It was nice but it's more family orientated. It's not a couples or romantic hotel.
