Aruba...what to do?

Aruba...what to do?

My DH and I are taking a really short trip (4 days) to Aruba for our 1 ear anniversary this June.

What are the 'must do's' or 'must sees' and resturants that we have to go to while there?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

Also, we are staying at a time share in the low rise section.

Thanks, Carissa

Hi Carissa!

Check out my review. I was in Aruba last Jan. Definitely eat at Flying Fishbone and do the Kukukunukoo tour. It is so much fun. Also try to take a jeep/bus tour.

fave restaurant: El Gaucho

fave night activity: the bar bus tour

biggest regret: NOT doing the jeep tour. . .i thought it took up too much time so we did a bus tour - we were with all old people and all the good stuff is off road so we didnt see anything!

Restaurants are expensive. Bring lots of $$ for them.

The best we went to was called (I think) Chez Josephine. Def eat the steak there. I was a bit disappointed with the preparation of the fish in Aruba.

To do: I enjoyed going to baby beach (snorkeling), doing some ATV touring, but mostly hanging out at the beach on floats.

Have a great time!

Oh Arube - how I LOVE it there!

We took a helicopter over the island - that was amazingggg - highly recommend

Also, Steaks & Crustaceans (I think I'm spelling it correctly, but not sure) - beautiful restaurant w/ outrageous food - highly recommend

Breakfast at the Hyatt is amazing - although I don't know if non-guests can eat there, but I'd think so - highly recommend

*and definitely DO NOT forget your sunscreen*

haha, have a great time - so jealous!

When I went, we took a snorkeling tour on a boat called the Mi Dushi. I loved it. I think it lasted about 4 or 5 hours, and they took us to a bunch of different spots that are great for seeing tropical fish. Plus they served lunch. I went 7 years ago, though, so I'm not sure if they are still around. Just make sure that whatever you do, load up on the highest SPF sunscreen you can find!

Most definitely the kukukunukoo tour. It was a blast.
There is an argentinian steakhouse in town that is fabulous too. The sangria is out of this world.
Just can't remember the name of it.
There is also another restaurant on a pier near the Occidental Aruba. Try to get a reservation for a table on the outside around sunset time. Beautiful.
