funny this is a thread, and i hope my FH doesnt see this..im from nassau and hes from suffolk, we moved in together in a house in suffolk county where we are living now..i HATE it here lol...i feel like he brought me out here to kill me
i know most people dont realize it, but it IS definately different..im not saying nassau is better, or the city is better or whatever, im just saying if youre not from here, its DEFINATELY different.

p.s..the funny thing is, (and please spare me from jumping all over my ***, im just being honest cause i think this is funny) DH and i have this argument all the time, when things go wrong here, or we meet someone slightly idiotic, i tell him 'thats cause we're in suffolk'

haha, yea i figured someones panties would get ruffled ;) it IS different,,,obviously to at least one person..me..lol..plus a few of the girls i grew up with who are living out here now feel the same way..
i didnt say anything was wrong with it..i said its much different from where i grew up....which is a fair statement..and quiet valid..and im assuming since you didnt grow up with me, you wouldnt recognize those differences to be able to validate them ;)
anyway i only replied cause it reminded me of a joke me and my husband have..im pretty sure if any of you are offended, you may wanna take a step back and ask yourself whats stressing you out so much?
anyway, sorry to offend ;) again, i didnt say anything was wrong with it..i live here and raise my son here, obviously i dont think less of it. i said i hate it because im far from everything im used to..
